Saturday, August 23: The Big Day

• Light breakfast at 8 AM
• Brunch at 11 AM
• Free time for swimming, rowing, sauna
• The ceremony begins at Beckershof at 4 PM, with dinner around 6:30 PM, followed by a party late into the night

Sunday, August 24: Farewell Brunch

• Check-out and brunch at 10 AM
• Time to head home by 1 PM

Transportation

Beckershof is 20 minutes from Katrineholm, which is 1–2 hours from Stockholm, depending on the mode of transport.

By car

The address is Beckershov 1, 641 91 Katrineholm, Sweden. Driving from Stockholm takes ~2h. 

By train

From Stockholm to Beckershof

1. Take a Mälartåg (here) or SJ train (here) from Stockholm Central to Katrineholm Central (~1 hour). Trains run frequently and can be booked 2-3 weeks in advance.

2. Once in Katrineholm:

• Friday arrivals: we’ll arrange a bus departing Katrineholm Central around 4 PM (exact time to be confirmed). If you can’t make it to the bus, see taxi instructions below.

• Saturday arrivals: Take a taxi from Katrineholm Central to Beckershofs Herrgård. Book via Uber or Taxi Katrineholm: +46 (0)150-36-10-01.

From Beckershof to Stockholm

1. We’ll arrange a bus to bring you back to Katrineholm Central on Sunday around 1:00 PM.

2. Take the train from Katrineholm Central to Stockholm Central. Tickets available at the links above.

Accommodation

On-site accommodation is available for all guests, with shared rooms for approximately four people each. We’ll assign rooms based on familiarity, but let us know in the RSVP form if you have preferences and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.

Prices for accommodation at Beckershof:

• Saturday only: 650 SEK / person
  Includes: 1-night stay + Sunday brunch
  
  
• Friday and Saturday: 1,650 SEK / person
  Includes: 2-night stay + Friday BBQ dinner + Saturday breakfast and brunch + Sunday brunch

Once the RSVPs are in, we’ll reach out individually to finalize reservations with Beckershof.

If you prefer a hotel, there are several in Katrineholm (20 min by car/taxi) including Hotel Statt and Kungsbacken.

Dress code

The dress code is Kavaj. 

In Sweden, Kavaj means a suit for men (e.g., dark blue or grey) paired with a white shirt and a tie or bow tie. For women, it means a dress or similarly elegant attire.

That said, the most important thing is that you feel comfortable. And don’t forget to pack your swimsuit for a swim in the lake!
